Colour Catcher launches UK first double action laundry sheets to help time-poor Brits

Colour Catcher, the number one laundry sheet in the UK, launches Colour Catcher + Hygienic Cleanliness Laundry Sachet – a UK first laundry product with two in one benefits. It hits the shelves this month and will cater for the growing needs of hygiene products, following Covid-19 while enabling busy Brits to save time, energy and money.

The new product’s dual action protects clothes against colour run accidents and provides a thorough deep clean. Each box contains 10 sachet, which are made of 100% natural fibres and are biodegradable. The surface of the sachets acts as a magnet and traps the dye and colours that bleed into the water during the wash so clothes of all colours can be popped into one load. The powder in the sachets provides thorough hygienic cleanliness through stain removal priorities to deliver a deeper clean than using detergent alone. Similar to the original Colour Catcher sheets, the new product also prevents issues unseen to the eye, such as greying which occurs due to the accumulation of grime, as well as ensures colours stay bright by trapping the dyes from the water before they build up onto the garments.

Rachel Ferreira, a spokesperson from Colour Catcher, comments: “Colour Catcher has been protecting against colour run and helping Brits mix their lights and darks in one wash for over 20 years. It launched its new innovation, the Colour Catcher + Hygienic Cleanliness Laundry Sachet following 85% of Brits admitting they separate their laundry loads to avoid colour run and with hygiene becoming a priority for people following the pandemic.”

The product is easy to use with a three-step process. Place the sachet into the washing drum, add laundry detergent and clothes as normal, and start the wash cycle. Once complete, both the sachets and packaging can be popped into the recycle bin.
